International mandates

15th Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Banjul, The Gambia, 2024

In May 2024, during the 15th Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation held in Banjul, the House provided the official culinary service on Gambian soil. This mandate confirmed the capacity to operate in West Africa under demanding summit protocols and in an unfamiliar logistical environment. Rahal Maître Traiteur is now called upon for receptions elsewhere in West Africa.

Annual Meetings of the World Bank and IMF, Marrakech, 2023

In October 2023, the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund were held in Marrakech, the first time in twenty-five years that these gatherings had taken place on the African continent. The full culinary operation was conceived and managed across multiple simultaneous sites for the entire duration of the event.

COP27, Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, 2022

In November 2022, the House managed the official catering for the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference in Sharm el-Sheikh. The operation was conducted beyond Morocco's borders, on an internationally constrained site, for a conference attended by delegations from more than one hundred and ninety-six countries.

COP22, Marrakech, Morocco, 2016

In November 2016, the House provided the culinary service for the 22nd United Nations Climate Change Conference, hosted in Marrakech. This national mandate, entrusted by the organisers, marked the beginning of the House's documented presence at major UN climate summits, a continuity that COP27 in Egypt would extend internationally six years later.

Morocco's great cultural gatherings

The same standards carry well beyond the summit room. The House sets the table at Morocco's most significant cultural and sporting occasions: gala dinners at the Marrakech International Film Festival, evenings at the Gnaoua World Music Festival in Essaouira, stages of the Aïcha des Gazelles Rally, the Marrakech Rally, and the major professional trade fairs that mark the year.

Rahal Maître Traiteur operates across the whole of Morocco. From the main cities, Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, to southern towns such as Agadir, Dakhla, and Laayoune, and well beyond the major urban centres, the House travels with its own teams and logistics. No destination is too remote: the standard of service does not diminish with distance.

Every year, Moroccan families established in France, Belgium, or the Gulf choose to hold their most important celebrations back home. Delegations return.

No client list is published, no communiqué issued after each summit. What takes place at its table remains between the delegations and their hosts.
